SAG Chennai - Fun Club - 555
1) If given a rectangular cake with a rectangular piece removed (any size or orientation), how would you cut the remainder of the cake into two equal halves with one straight cut of a knife?
Slice the cake along half its height, parallel to the ground.(or) Cut it in such a way that the plane of cut passes through the center of the actual cake and the removed piece.
2) Sam is a pet lover. He has few chickens and goats. Causally when I asked him, how many chicks and goats he has, he answered me , there are 40 eyes and 54 legs. Can someone help me to find how many goats and chicken sam has?
13 Chickens and 7 Goats
(Hint: Before you think out of box, pls note, none of the pets are handicapped or abnormal)
3) A bag contains 5 bananas. Divide them among 5 kids so that each one gets one banana and one banana stays in the bag?
The last banana with the bag
4) Name any two Software AG’s current research projects.
ADiWa (Allianz Digitaler Warenfluss / Digital Flow of Goods)
NeOn (Networked Ontologies)
BRITE (Business Register Interoperability Throughout Europe)
SemanticGov (E-Government using Semantic Web Services)
5)You have someone working for you for seven days and you have one gold bar to pay them. The gold bar is segmented into seven connected pieces. You must give him a piece of gold at the end of every day. If you are only allowed to make two breaks in the gold bar, how do you pay your worker?
